English Translation file

The default English messages contains a few mistakes like this one :
"Our staff is always ready to help" : this should be "Our staff are always ready to help"

Where can I review/change all the default English messages in order to correct the obvious ones ?

I cannot help you on edit the Default English text where LHC don't let you edit from the Admin Panel;
in this case you can edit the sentence "Our staff is always ready to help" by creating a Widget Template and make it the default template to use.

For do that please go on settings > |live help configuration| > widget themes > New than you will find the relative |Need help widget| -> Need help standard text

as you can see from the GitHub Topic https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/liveh … issues/876 is not possible edit the Source English language.
So you cannot fix this issue alone.

You can subscribe at the GitHub topic for be informed. Maybe will be useful if you post on the GitHub open topic all errors you found in English Source Language so the chat owner can review it.

Sorry I cannot help you to edit Source Code and if you do it wrong you will loose your LHC and maybe you need to resume the backup or install as new.

For free at the moment you must compile the GitHub topic with the errors fended by you and wait a FIX.

Can i setup a translation file (like EN_AU) and setup LHC to use this translation file ?

You can do IT and edit directly the relative file in your LHC under translation folder but maybe will more simple create widget theme smile

do you know where to configure the default language for the live help chat at the bottom right ? i changed the defautl language but this is not taken in consideration
