Hi all,
Basically what I ask all of you to share your ideas here, what feature you are missing for Live Helper Chat?. These features should be oriented for web client. Frontend/Backend. So flood me with your ideas here and perhaps some of them will be implemented if I find them cool and useful

I like to have an option to hide/disable chat widget from the script for certain departament. Or using the keyword.
If I do not have access to the page where it is, and I can not remove it directly from the html code.
It is possible?

I am still new and I may possibly be missing some features if already added

What do you thing about include images and/or text in proactive chat invitation messages as part of the conversation initiated?

LHC supports bbcode so basically you can include image in proactive invitation text. Just play around

Reject a user.
Actually is possibile to set a time after who user are redirected to the contact form but if operator want redirect the user to contact form immediatly because they can't reply to the caht can't to this.
Operator are only able to acpet chat not to reject and so redirect immediatly user to contact form.

Excellent script, i've been using it for a while and it just keeps getting better.
What if online departments / working hours take precedence over any type of login (windows app, chrome app, admin site login), so the online widget in the page will strictly show online only during this time / days. This is because in my case i use the computer for other tasks, also using chrome or checking LCH admin, and i tend to forget to logout / login the admin or app.
Ex. all my departments have a support schedule from monday to saturday from 8am to 4pm (time zone is correctly set and support departments correctly configured), is already 5pm and support still shows online just because i haven't yet chage the chrome app status!!!.

Ok few replies,
Regarding ads
1. Why would you want to do that? The only reason i ques you are giving hosting for free and having ads in customer windows, in any other situation i do not see a point of having ads in chat window. In any case you can override templates.
Regarding online status stuff
2. As for that situation I ques the simplest way is just check yourself as offline, so offline/online hours will take a precedence. 3. As for enhancement the only idea at the moment just have an option in department "[X] Online hours takes precedence" over users status.
3.1 But this is kinda tricky like status can be generated for global (any of department is online), for custom department. And all this somehow have to be mixed with users statuses and department statuses and online policy. Getting messy

Yes.
It works like your proactive chat invitation, and can be an enhancement to it if this is part of it.
It is triggered by time + pages visited, and inside the editable text can say:
"Hello, wellcome to <site> to receive our news, we invite you to suscribe to newsletter:
Mail [_______________________________]
Button: Thanks
And when the user click it, can be triggered the proactive chat function inside as it do it now.This can be also optional and configurable from the (new name): "proactive configuration" with both selection check marks and texts.
[ x ] Proactive chat invitation[ x ] Proactive newsletter register invitation
Text [_____________________________________________________]
Today proactive chat invitation ask for your email, this can be a minor change...
The resulting emails list can be exported to xls, csv or any to be used inside our Newsletter script or service.

Some small ideas.
1.) Different pro active chat invitations for different department.
2.) Added option that users can not see all departments when setup embed code but only deprtment(s) allow from the administrator in web login.
3.) Duplicate rule from existing rule with the touch of a button.

My thought would be to add either the capability to have a login on the chat window. The most prefered way would be to have that pass through LDAP/SAML (don't need smtp setup)
The other option have them do email verification before support.
I did read one article that had some details.

it would be good for that type of level so only your users could chat. (lock it down to an organisation)if your users have a membership for the live support then you can even flag a group that you allow live chat for.
by far the best functionality in a live chat solution i have seen.Thank you Remi!
One small feature that i think is missing in the windows app is the rating system which you can see on the web. (thumbs up/thumbs down)
