Live Helper Chat IE 8 Javascript Error

Hi!
I just want to ask if you have already encounter this problem with IE 8, this problem occurs by chances sometimes it comes out and sometimes don't. I highly appreciate your help, if you solution to this error

i already seen the problem it is about issues between IE 8 and  "a56e5201ad3140c7dd01ce2f223c3866.js" under the folder of /lhc_web/cache/compiledtemplates
on line 308 which is:

window.open(this.wwwDir + 'chat/single/'+chat_id,'chatwindow'+name+chat_id,"menubar=1,resizable=1,width=600,height=450");

the function doesn't run when the customer name has a whitespaces, i've been trying to edit this file but it doesn't take effect how can i edit this file to debug them

I see. I will update LHC this evening and remove name attribute from this call. Meanwhile you can update to newer version of IE smile

unfortunately it is a client requirement and the base OS is Windows XP neutral
