How can i use template variables in bot

Can i use template variables in Bot to answer the customer for collected variables ?

For example : collect name > customer says JHON > Bot says "Thank you JHON"

Where are this variables availables ? only in Text messages ?

1- For example, can i do it ?

2-are variables available for REST API ?

Or it is not working or im not beeing clear.

I need to pass variables in other instances than Text messages , for example in links.

It prints http://link....../%7Blhc.email%7D

What i meant is if i can use the variables like {lhc.email} in other parts of bot , like buttons, urls, links, and so on...

Additional info. These replaceable variables should be supported everywhere. No matter where you enter them. If some of them won't work in your desirable place let me know what response type it was and in what place you put it exactly.

Im using button list, and the variable is not shown in the url button list.
