Does live helper chat works with the managed Server.?

I have a website featuring a technical product hosted on the managed DigitalOcean web server. The website is created on PHP based open-source platform "Magento" and is hosted on DO server but it's powered by a third party host that is Cloudways.
Now, I want to integrate a chat support with the excisting website and for that live helper chat is a good option. But, I don't know if it is sustainable with the manged hosting server.

Usually for host a live helper chat a VPS or a dedicated server is needed and suggested.

If you are in a shared hosting I suggest to ask to their support if you can self-host a live chat.
