Pro active invitation when visits specific page

Hello everyone!

I am trying to setup a pro active invitation to show the chat when user enters on 'X' page following this guide: https://livehelperchat.com/pro-active-c … -138a.html

But I'm not able to get it to work. These are the steps I am doing:

1 - Create a Pro active chat variable with identifier 'X'
2 - Define this variable in chat script:

LHCChatOptions.events = new Array();
LHCChatOptions.events.push({id:'x'});

3 - Create a Pro active chat invitation selecting as a event this variable, 1 pageview and 5 seconds on site.

But I don't get the invitation when it's supposed that web would have to show it. I feel that chat script is not recognizing the variable that was defined in step 2.

Can anyone give me a hand with this? I would appreciate it so much.

Have you tried to set a pro active invitation by skipping step two? Using just the embed code generated from LHC (Live Helper Chat)?

It's important that setting set on pro active are right.
An example of an issue can be a wrong tag set... if you want and can you can evaluate to share the pro active settings page.

Have you tried to do a search on the forum? Maybe you can find interesting topics about issue with pro active.

Yes, I have tried removing code from step 2 but it's still not working. But I think that code it's important because if I removed it, how LHC knows in which page has to show the invitation? Must have something in webpage that tells the chat widget that 'x' variable is setted. Am I right?

Hi thank you for the updates,
if you need set complex pro active (specific page, events, etc) maybe you will need a deeper support that i am unable to provide.

For generic pro active usually can be helpful not select any department, no event.
If you use identifier you need include also in the Embed code.

If you need more deep support you can try to look at the above link.
