Auto Response while waiting for an agent

I'm trying to set up an auto responder that sends messages like "Please Wait" and "Agents busy, we'll respond via email" after a set time if chat is not picked up. I tried setting this up in Auto Responders under Pending Chat Messaging, but the problem is even after the agent picks up and responds to the message, it still sends the messages after the set time. Im not sure what I'm doing wrong here. 1507048494_example.jpg

I never seens this issue.

Are you able to reproduce on the demo?
If you want you can provide a URL where the widget chat is and we can test together if I AM online.
