A lot of curious questions from a dummie (smf-forum)

Valued support team,
dear readers,

first of all: may person took on trust that it is welcome an account here, as well as the opportunity to "ask for help". Please let it be known if it should not be the case.

Some times ago, my person thought that it would be great if having the possibility to communicate audio visual in the online monastery sangham.net and made such as an "could look like that"-block in this smf-forum, but that is just one possible kind of integration.
In regard of this, coming across here, some questions:

* would you general offered software allow a implementation in such an inviroment?
* would it be welcome to make use of it, be able to seen as given for this place, since my person could not give any reward in exchange?
* would it use or require any personal unasked third part property or service, or does the active part only relay on the given service of the places server of the user in simply using an additional installed software on the user server?
* would the user, aside of copyrights of the software, need to agree with something that's maybe not possible to give or do any exchange for the use?

Of course there would be maybe many additional questions in regard of installing and running, like bridging user-accounts if possible... but such is not really actual for now.

Please do in no way feel burdened or forced by those many maybe unusuall questions an pardon a maybe strang seeming approach.

Sadhu! (Appreciation of skilful deeds) for having taking/giving you time to read this post.

Hi Samana Johann,
welcome in the live helper chat forum.

At the moment live helper chat is a live chat system and not a videocall conference software.
I cannot say if a video function will be implemented in the future but maybe if will be will be on single chat not multi users.

Live helper chat is a free live chat software for give help to your visitor.
All info you need is on livehelperchat.com
where you can find also copyright info.

Wish you a nice day and time.  wink

Sadhu! (Appreciation of good deeds) for you clarification. So its "just" a writting chat.
My person will go through your given suggestion.

Maybe a possible short cut: does it require third part use?

So the general implimentation would be similar as you suggested for php-forms, my person guesses.

Re: A lot of curious questions from a dummie (smf-forum)

I had some problem on understanding well your enaglish.
Live helper chat is a text chat, correct. (Writting chat)

Thanks for the suggestion but for now I think this will remain a live chat single live chat visitor and operator not a conference video call
also if this is userfull but seems to be a different software category.

I do not understand "require third part use". I cannot understand what you mean.

You can read more about what a Live chat is here:

Thats clear already, was a missunderstanding, thought it includes Audio and Video as well. But nevertheless great idea and possibility.

Would if, fir example require the use of a different host like the own and cause there unrequested or to certain conditions bound traffic? Or for example, does it require a facebook, google, skype... what ever account abd membership. In short, would the use cause the use of third parts energy, costs, time? Or can it be run and hosted exclusively on the own server and on own energy and possibilities?

Having come accross certain integrations which use external services at least and "just" provide certain implimentations.
