username should receive chat from "specific page url" within the same domain name
hello community,
I am trying to make several usernames, so each username can receive chat from specific webpage within the same website, so this user cant see other chats,
from the research i made it seems i have to create operators, but how can i tell the username with which operator to deal!
is it something relates to the assign departments, but how can i add new department!
i am sorry but i am really confused here
can you help, i will appreciate your response

Hi alaa,
welcome in the live helper chat forum!

You can create department
- Working with departaments
than once department are created you can assign to an operator.

Now, Department A will be inserted in website A.
For do that when you generate the embed code for the chat widget let just select the department A so all chat started from here will be assigned to operators assigned on department A.

If you have website B and want do the same create department B and when generate embed code select only department B.

i can see their is viewers but no replies, may be i need to be more exact,
what i meant here is the username for the client cant see all the visitors chat,
he can see the chats of the visitors in a specific page, since each page needs specified admin to manage it!

I think to understand you. Managing different website with live helper chat can create to you issues because some feature need to be implemented yet.

If the widget in the website has only department A all operator assigned to A will be able to see chats, visitor, pending chats.
If your widget have more than the A department some operator can have issue on see chats.
However I Am chatting about your issue, right now with you.
