i search alot but dont undrestand well about how can i get notification from my live helper chat.
goole+ and hangout dosnt work well recently in our country so i cant use it.
i try chrome extension too , i installed it but it dosnt show the number of pending chats,what should i do? i want to get the notification of new chat but i dont know how...
i also know about sevabot but as i undrestand it is not for those who wants notification for all departments and its for self hosted situation.
how can i get notification from live helper chat?

Thank you for your first post and for searching in our topics.
Chat notification are browser based. My suggestion is to use the web interface of Live helper chat,
you can reach the log-in page and the operator web interface with the address:
http:// or https://yourdomain.ext/livehelperchatfo … ste_admin/
as indicated in the documentation here.
If you are using a compatible browser like Chrome or Firefox you can activate browser notification on settings, live help configuration, chat configuration than blue button "Request notification permission"
A Chrome Extension is available but maybe not necessary for your case as you can activate browser notification.
the bot I think has nothing to do with notification is like a bot who can give predefined replies to the user.

i also test "Request notification permission" but it works when a user is online . i need something for offline times too
is there any other way?
for example in offline mode get the notification and then login and answer to them.
in the past we use hangout and we could chat with our users with it.
is there any way to do somthing like that?

If you go into the department settings, notification you can set an email alert to the department email address so... you can decide after 60 seconds the user is waiting to receive an email alert.

but as indicated in this article I cannot give free support for this.
In my case I activated work department hours and email notification after 60 seconds and I use web interface for manage chat.
Never tested the UnOfficial mobile chat.

can you explain a little about skype notification?
i read the documentation and about sevabot.
but i dont undrestand exactly how it work. can i get notification from live helper chat to a skype group where some users are added?

I don't give support about Skype and live helper chat.
Maybe you cannot receive notification about chat on Skype from what I know.
Savabot is also out of the scope of my support, for this there are commercial support.
