Send email to visitor if he/she leaves before replying

I have a few visitors who leave without giving me enough time to reply. Is there a way to make LHC send them an email if I reply to their chat and they are gone? Looked at docs but didn't find this feature.

I don't know about the system doing that automatically. What I have done is go to the chat and click the email button and send them an email manually.

I may have seen that there is a recent code change that implements this feature but I'm not too sure....

Hi,
Scalior are correct, you can use the mail icon button on the chat. The visitor has to have filled the email field for you to be able to email them or you need to put the email address as to address if the visitor has not left an email address.

I suggest to use SMTP for send email with live Helper Chat. Also I suggest to look into Announcement section of the forum for find the recent security update.

Dear arjoni seems you are not new on Live helper chat so I AM surprised by your topics and also github requests.
No feature has been added to email just fix from what I know.
