Hello there,
First of all thank you for this piece of gold you share with us and keep it open source, all apreciation!
I am interested to have this live support chat installed on my server and offer to at least 2 other domains the code and dashboard.
While reading and testing lots of times, I end up that all users are able to see others (when activating "General permission to use chat module" - so they see all departments, users and are able to make searches)
I have tried probably, all posible ways to figure a way to have separat dashboards for Site A and Site B .
But I always end up that they are able to see the other user name and department.
I thought of maybe making separate subdomains for each - subdomain A for Site A and subdomain B for Site B , will this make the trick and keep the dashboards separated at all while they enjoy moust of the setings ?

Seems you are new on Live helper chat,

How to disable operators open already accepted chats from their departments?
Please also remember that operator should be assigned to a department
and in the department assignment, operator have to not be assigned to all departments
if you want they cannot see other department chat.
Also you have to uncheck "can see all pending chats"

Thanks for this promt support.
I assigned all to different department and created , group, reoles only for them. None is assigned to all departments all have specific departments ...
They still are able to see the other created users and departments.

on my signature you can find commercial support info so someone can configure LHC for you.
As you can understand this is an Open Source Project.
I cannot configure each user settings.
You can look at the documentation.
Also I suggest to check that option to see all department in operator profile is not checked. You can look at the documentation for discover how configure permission.

Maybe but I think your sever may be more stressed by have many live chat installations.
I suggest to you to read more the documentation and, if you are new on LHC,
try to spent more day before think you are unable to do what you are doing.

I May evaluate to write a FAQ in my free time,
here in the forum for help to understand how to assign operator to a department and let operator see only incoming chat from that department.
If you are new on Live helper chat it's normal you cannot be able to use and immediately understand all functions.
That's need time or, if you have no time and are in a business the commercial support can be a right solution.
The chat owner remdex is very busy and he spent his free time for develop this great open source project.
It's not easy I think.
I AM only a passionate user who spent his free time to try to help in the forum as remdex is too busy for do that.
