XMPP messages

Hello guys, I've problem with XMPP messages.
I've followed instructions from https://livehelperchat.com/xmp-gtalk-xa … -222a.html but messaging doesn't work.
At XMPP settings tab I've set:

Host: talk.google.com
Port: 5222
Login: gmail address
Password: gmail password
Resource: xmpphp
Server gmail.com
Recipients: gmail address

At Notifications tab in department edit (only one I've got) I've enter my gmail address.

Settings saved, when I try to send test message to gmail address, I get "Auth failed!"... What's wrong here?

PS.
iPhone Monal app with same settings (email address, password, host, port) works fine.

welcome in the Live helper chat forum and thank you for your first post!

XMPP is maybe an add-on is something more than the basic function of Live helper chat.
XMPP is supported BUT if you have issue I cannot direct assist you.

Sorry, I only use the web version, the web console. If you need set XMPP you can try to wait here a reply from the chat owner or from some one who can help you with this because have already solved maybe issue BUT I cannot assist you directly.

IF you need and you do not receive reply you can contact the commercial support.

Have you tried to generate app password?
Is Google Talk address still valid? Now seems Google has closed >Google Talk and has created Hangout.
AS XMPP is complex to configure (in my experience) I decided finally to use web interface but if you are on Business or this is really important to you you can consider the commercial support.

Gmail address and password are valid and correct. So test message should be send. Another thing is receiving them, but message first have to be sent to be received
What about my settings (apart from email/password): are they correct?

Host: talk.google.com
Port: 5222
Resource: xmpphp
Server gmail.com

If you need help with XMPP you can contact the commercial support or try to solve issues alone.
You can also choose to user web interface instead XMPP.
