Departments - New Feature

Thanks for the day and hours - over certain frames of departments.
What is the point of department groups - What does it do and whats the benefit ?

Unfortunately I have no info about this as seems be not explained the news release article.

Maybe some one has made donation and requested to made group of departments.
Seems now you can add department to a group of departments.
You may want test it and find how this new function can help you.
