Change in Title

Good morning, I changed the tittle settings.ini.php and the application stopped working returned to the old title and still not resolved.
Does anyone know tell me how to proceed to solve?

When you edit LHC file you are broken LHC so no support available.

Where is located settings.ini.php? is a LHC file?
Why you edited the file name or what you mean with "edited the title" and why you do that?

Hi,
thank you for the reply.

Please resume the original file and use the web admin interface for edit this kind of title.
You don't need to edit the code, you can do all in the admin panel.
Settings > Live Helper Configuration > Chat Configuration > Copyright settings.

I believe that I did not look at the web panel settings correctly, but returned the default file and still did not work.

Hi, I suggest to try to use the Private Surfing for see if works. Maybe your browser have cache to clean.
If not works maybe you edited something else. By editing files you corrupt installations. Remember that.

A suggestion: don't put hands where you don't know smile and also in the code.

Try with a private surfing, if all works so you need reset your browser or clean your browser cache history.
If the issue persist a clean install should resolve the issue and please don't edit the code: it's at your risk.

Where in the web interface can you change the title? Also, where do you set the site_admin_email? I have been looking for where to change this but I didn't see. I thought it was normal then to edit these manually.

Once you are logged in you have to learn settings, I cannot explain to you all configuration like email, title etc. You will see.

LiveHelperChat is a big project! smile Being a developer I have hacked my way through some parts that are not clear. This was a good thread to help clarify one of my areas of confusion.

I have been through the entire web UI but didn't see any page that when you make changes to the title and site_admin_email, it changes the values in settings.ini.php. I have seen "Settings -> Live Help Configuraton -> Widget Theme" In the theme you can change the name of the company, but that doesn't change the value in settings.ini.php. Was just curious.

By the way, you will hear a lot from me as I continue to use LHC wink

There I can make changes to "Application name" and "Site settings". Neither of these changes affect settings.ini.php, which leads me to think that title and site_admin_email in the settings are no longer used....

Hi scalior,
I think we are not understanding.

If you set some settings in the admin panel you won't see file like settings.ini.php edited.

Do you need help in using LHC or do you need help for made your mobile app? Because if you need programming help or technical question in the code I cannot help you and the chat owner ... I think is too busy for also can help you for free "only commercial support", I suppose.

If you want just customize the title of the Live Heper Chat the place is where I told. I tested it in the demo and works fine, you change this and you will see the changers also in the visitor title chat pop up and if you edit in the operator side.

Email settings will be in email settings in the admin panel. There are another section for customize emails template and also set SMTP.

My LHC is working well. It is working as you describe it.

My question was more from the programming side.... I was looking for [small] information to help with the mobile but it is not important..

If I have a more technical question I will try to reach *** in Github.
