Hi, I love the idea of the Screenshot. However, after some testing, I noticed it only takes a screenshot of the browser, not the actual desktop? I have not been able to find any guidance in the forum or documentation on this.

Is it possible to get a screenshot from the users desktop or another application?

from a live chat you want take PC screenshot? Maybe do you want also do remote assisteance?
Sorry for the irony but I think a screen is enought is also maybe too much for a free open source live chat :-)

There are a lot of fix needed, improvment opened in queue in GitHub, maybe is better resolve what have major priority.
Anyway thanks for your post.

At the moment is possibile only to take user screen of the browser.

Not sure I understand the comment about the irony, I was just asking for a simple clarification, in case I was overlooking something. It would be a shame if it was possible and I just assumed it was not.... I fully agree you can not complain about free stuff, and my question was not meant as a complaint at all! I do appreciate all the effort put in such a project.

There is a function in LHC who allow you to see not only in a screenshot but in real time the screen of the user (web browser) and show your cursor and move the mouse.

mmmMMmm... seems I am unable to find a tutorial who explain the function. You can try to start a chat and from operator console use the icon with the eye.

hi, yes also tried that, and this also only shows the browser. Great function if the support/questions are about the website.

I also have need for screenshots (live support is even better but screenshot will do) for outside the browser, and when I stumbled on LHC earlier today and saw the option to do screenshots, I got really happy. Am still happy because LHC seems to be doing all the rest of what I need, but being able to do a full screenshot or live support would be a few cherries on the cake:):)
