Issues with the Chat

Hello,

I apologize for combining issues in one topic. I am a a user for about a week now and I have discovered a few issues that I hope can be resolved.
First on is that when the Chat tab is not opened, not every time I get a notification is someone has entered the chat. Tried with Firefox and Google Chrome. I made sure to give permissions in both browsers.
The second is that when I try to use the search with an email address I do not get results  and have to manually look for the chats i want to recall.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Pana,
thank you for this precious post.

First issue you reported seems to be an issue with Google Chrome who seems to have disabled notification for when the browser is minimized or not in first view.
You have to report this issue to Chrome.
For fix this issue you can try to use Firefox and see if the issue is resolved. If so is an issue with Chrome and you need report the issue to Chrome.

The second issue:
I tried to do a search wirth email and seems works fine. Chat not listed was because email are not present or are different from what I have searched. I cannot see bug here, are you sure?
Please report more step to reproduce.

Thank you for the response.
As I mentioned chat notification was tested on Firefox as well as Chrome. Indeed I can confirm that on Chrome it is happening more frequently, so I will check with them and see if I can find some workaround.
As for the second one, yes I am sure. I copied an email provided in the chat, I can verify that it was correct, but for some reason the search would not bring me the results, even though the user opened a few session with the same email address.

Pana, I AM using Firefox and never seens issue with notifications. But I have no more chat than one.
I have no many users, however if you think there are issue also in the second case please create a topic for each supposed bug or issue here:
https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/livehelperchat/issues

Will be checked by the chat owner.
