Linking Live Helper Chat To Multiple Sites

Hi there,

My boss had an external company install Live Helper Chat for him on his main website - Shortys HVAC, he then opened another site. The issue I'm having is that they just basically copied all the files over to the new domain from his main site and rebranded. This means they also copied this plugin over.

My boss is asking if it's possible to:

1. Fix the chat so it works on his new site - Shortys Pumps

2. Allow it so chats from both sites go to his one admin panel.

Using Zencart 1.5.4.

I've only recently been hired and I'm helping develop another site whilst attempting to fix issues with his currents sites. He keeps getting left high and dry with the external developer. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ash,
maybe for your point one you need to regenerate embed code.
So please go into your Live Helper Chat settings and try to generate new Embed code where not work and replace in the website where not works.

2. Once you will have fixed 1 you will also able to see chats from each site in the admin panel.

I've noticed that if you maximize the chat window on Shortys Pumps, you can type and it goes to the main admin panel but you can't type on the chat unless you maximize it. It just has a loading icon.
What would I do to fix that? Should I try to embed the code again? Not sure if that is the issue.

Ash, as I told regenerate the embed code.
You can try to paste the Embed Code generated in this website:
http://htmledit.squarefree.com/

and see the results below. With your actual not working website embed code also in this html editor widget not works so if the new embed code works you have solved, if not maybe some settings when you generate the embed code is not set correctly.

I replaced the embed widget code on the main page. Still having the same issue.

Your Embed code seems to be wrong. Please regenerate it. Try without input domain in the input field. If not work try with put the domain where the embed code is inserted. Thanks
