customer can not send email

the live chat customer can not forward an email to himself of the conversation.

but admin staff can from control panel.

Any solution to this?

Are you sure?
Go in settings, MISC and enable the function to let user email the chat.

I know where settings are, but I have nothing called MISC. I am using the latest version.

big_smile this let me know you are unfamiliar with live helper chat. Just navigate into settings and try to understand settings.
However you can reach Misc at livechatfolder/index.php/site_admin/chat/listchatconfig#/misc

Hi,
If you not set SMTP credentials email sent by LHC can be stopped as spam. So, yes can be the reason.

I don't know. Also you have no specified if visitor are able to see the send transcript icon on top right widget and if there are no printed error just email is not delivered. In this case are for sure because you have not valid SMTP set.
