When I click on open in new windows get an a blank page and when I click the home link (/index.php/site_admin/) or the new window icon at the top (index.php/site_admin/chat/chattabs/) I get the below page (show in image below).I have enable the error logs as explained here (http://livehelperchat.com/during-some-action-app-returns-white-screen-what-to-do-215a.html) and no errors on page and no error log is created.
I am using a fresh install using softaculous and the chat system seems to work, I can communicate with it fine. Can anyway give some advise how to fix this problem:
Thanks

Hi,
Can you just try to clean cache from back office?

One more thing, perhaps you moved chat to another location? http://livehelperchat.com/how-to-move-chat-from-one-location-to-another-125a.html

Hi,
I clicked this option in the config section:
OtherClean cachebut the issue still exists.
I installed with softaculous then installed with softaculous and installed again to try and correct an issue with the xmpp setup.
I was quite sure this problem did not exist before I did that and i did reinstall to a new location, could this be related to the moving of chat like you.
I then went in via ftp and deleted the whole cache folder, uninatalled and installed again via softaculous and the problem has been resolved.
Thanks for giving me some clue of the problem and thanks for the great application.

Hi,
I enabled error logs, did a flesh install, went to xmpp settings tried to run a test (was getting a blank page) and found this error in the log
[14-May-2014 19:02:15 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxxx/lib/core/lhxmp/XMPPHP/XMLStream.php on line 715
I then followed this guide
http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/php-troubleshooting/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-error on my vps
i can now send the test ok and my original issue also seems to be resolved.
I don't really understand how the two are linked, but as of now, the problem is fixed.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi,
Your VPS is missing mbstring php extension. And that's the reason why it hangs after first chat.http://us2.php.net/manual/en/mbstring.installation.php
