Hello,
i am installing live helper chat in my server.
in this server i have a lot of diferent costumers.
i would like to know how i have to install Live Helper Chat in this server to all my customers can use it;

I've used groups + departments to make a "multi-customers" context,
but some informations still remains on Chat List History.
Is there is a way (a rule ?) to make operator to see only his department(s)
on Chat List page ?

Yes, open the user profile do on assigned department and remove the all department box.

Thank you for your response Marco.
I've already unckeked "all departments " check box in user profile.
This trick works for dashboard and chat filtering (i see only visitors associated to my department).
The select list for departments is filtered on dashboard (i see the unique department associated to my operator).
But when i open "Chat > Chats list" page, the "department" select list still contains all departments.
(and on the same page, the "User" select also contains operators of other departments).

in this case the only one can give you a reply is the chat owner I think.
I hope you will be able to fix this issue alone and share the solution here but if not I suggest to open a new Forum topic with your issue, open a GitHub topic as issue here: https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/liveh … issues/new and maybe share the GitHub issue link on your topic and in GitHub share the link to your forum discussion.
This may be a bug or maybe there are too complex permission who me and you are not able to understand. I think is not correct if all department are unchecked from the operator profile they are able to see department of other operator and also not assigned to him department.
Have you try to open this chat? Are you able to read or you see error permission message?
Also before create GitHub topic I suggest to you to try to reproduce the issue on the demo: https://livehelperchat.com/demo-12c.html
You can have two browser window one in livehelperchat.com for test and one into admin panel (demo) you can try to create different operator, department and see if the issue is the same than create detailed topic for receive help.
I want advise you the solution may be not shared soon as the chat owner seems busy and some urgent bug are opened from January 2016 on GitHub and still be unresolved like this:

Hi dsimon,
I CAN CONFIRM THIS IS NOT A BUG so you don't need open new topic on the Forum and also you don't need open a topic in GitHub.
I tested in the demo and Issue you says doesn't exist.
Please remember if you uncheck all department on assignment tab of the user you have also to uncheck the department you don't want that user can see. I Think you are able to see other department in chat list only because your user are allowed in Assigned department to see that department.
User for not be able to see a department should have two unchecked option in Profile, Assignment tab:
1 Unchecked All Department
2 Unchecked the department the user are not allowed to see.

In user permissions module, the unique department checked is the department i've created for my operator.
I will try to determine the origin of the problem by making some changes on the role attached to the department
(may be i have to check / uncheck another item to hide others departments ?) and give you a feeback as soon as possible.

After some tests on the demo, effectively, it's not a bug.
I had a mistake in my config : a role was assigned to my user (operator), and another role was assigned to his group.
By viewing permission detail, the option "sees_all_online_visitors" was checked for one of this roles.
By Uncheking this option, my problem was resolved: my user can now see only his departments in chats list.
Hope this helps for others users !
