Change text in chatbox

Hi,

I would like to edit the chatbox and change the text on the form for something different. I marked the text that I would like to change for something else. As an example I would like to change "Department" for "Subject Matter" Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Joel,
I AM happy to see you as new user here. I hope before posting in the Forum you have tried to navigate the settings of LHC and only after some days of new approach with the new software, when you was unable to do that you asked in the Forum.

I do not think you can change Department word but you can change the other text indicated from your red arrow.
You can change the first "Fill out" sentence in the widget not in the pop up for now. For do that you can go on settings, widget template and create your custom widget template than use that in Embed code or made the default.

You cannot customize for now Name , Department label. Maybe you can try to create custom inputs but I know there are a BUG on this:

So all customization you request is possible by create custom widget.
If you are using a different language than the native English than you are able to edit in the translation folder the relative file of the other language you are using. So for example I AM using Italian so I have changed Nome to Nome | Name but this changes was made in the translation Italian file. I AM unable for now to edit the English set as default used by LHC.
request this different times but not find a way or easy solution.

Thanks for the reply.

I actually spent a few days searching on the forums but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I can't use the widget with the project that I am working on. I guess all I can do is wait and hopefully this would be a feature that can be customize on the future. Thanks a lot
