when the client updates the chat site page ends.
How to set the chat so that it remains always
open to the client while browsing the site ? What are you doing the chat closing?

You cannot make the widget always open. For do that you need your custom code.
When the chat is closed chat is closed. Maybe you can find relative settings in the settings, misc tab.
