Has anyone experienced any issues with losing the connection or severe delays in the system. I have the application running on a dedicated server but several of our operators see sever delays in the receiving messages. We have experienced such delays that by the time the operator responds to the request, the email form has already been triggered, and it is set to display the email form at 90 seconds. I'm not sure if this is due to database access times or something else. We've had the livehelperchat installed on 2 different shared hosting providers and noticed that over time the client slowed down and we began to see these issues. That is why we moved it to a dedicated server. Are there any suggestions for fixing this? Is there a way to clean the database out, other than doing a clean install?

No we are not on shared hosting anymore. We kept seeing this issue, so we moved the chat to a dedicated server. It ran fine for a while, but then began to get sluggish again. I've disabled the GEO functions and visitor tracking to reduce bandwidth and database calls, but it does not seem to help. I started to wonder if it is due to the size of the database, and want to clean it up to reduce size etc. Is there a way to purge the database of visitor data and chat messages, without doing a fresh install? I'd like to keep all of the settings, departments, operators and canned messages intact so I don't have to spend hours setting those all back up.

Can you give the URL where your chat widget is installed? SO I can take a look. Thanks!
