Issue with Need-Help Tooltip

It seams that even when I uncheck this option from Live help configuration -> chat configuration -> online tracking the tooltip still loads. I'm running version 2.45 and have the widget showing up on the left hand - middle side. Also, I've tried cleaning my cache.

Any ideas? I want it disabled so it never pops up. If I click the X that will close it and it appears to stay closed for several hours, but I want to prevent it from popping up at all. Thanks!

thank you for your post in the Live Helper Forum.

I'm sorry but I think that the topic that you have opened is poorly introduced.
What is your issue? Is not clear for me.

Maybe your issue is the tooltip is showed after have closing it and changed the page?
Online teaching have nothing to do maybe with this.

The status widget usually are placed on the right side of the screen, if is in the center maybe you moved manually it? OR maybe Embed code is in the wrong place.
The widget does not opening by himself if user don't click it, maybe it opens himself only if there are pro-active invitation active and matching the rule.

Also if you can share here the URL where you have installed the widget will be more easy assist you.
Please write more details about your issue.

Thank you for your reply Marco. The issue is that although I have "Show need help tooltip" unchecked from inside the settings, this tool tip still shows up when visiting the website.

If I close it then it stays closed which is fine, but I don't want it showing up for users to even have the option to close it. The widget itself is fine, it's the "Need Help" popup that I do not want displaying at all.

Does this help at all? Thanks.

OK so please go on settings, live helper configuration (tab), chat configuration, misc, and here please uncheck "Show need help tooltip?" save and you have solved the issue.

You checked in the wrong place and wrong settings.

Please see my initial post - I have already done this, yet it still displays. By the way, it's not under the Misc tab, it's under the Online Tracking tab:
Live help configuration -> chat configuration -> online tracking
