Hi,
as the server where you installed Live Helper Chat not have SSL is normal you get insecure content in a SSL webiste where you place that chat.
You have choice to keep the padlock not green and use an insecure chat, or buy a SSL certificate and install where you have installed the chat so your chat get secure and you can use under SSL in SSL webiste.
This is not an issue with LHC (Live Helper Chat) but with your wrong configuration. If you put an image not HTTPS in your SSL webiste you will loose also padlock. Is normal, is how Internet works.
If you want have padlock and use a live chat on youir website the server where chat is must support https.

"Chat configuration" => "Misc" -> Adjust the page was made.
But the LHC is still not working. What is the problem at the LHC?
website runnig : https://e-kurs.net and http://e-kurs.net
LHC runnig : destek.e-kurs.net

Hi,
seems the GeoTrust SSL certificate installed on https://destek.e-kurs.net/ has error in the installation.
https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker. … -kurs.net/
If the certificate is not installed correctly is normal when you load the address in a web browser not works also the chat cannot work.
I suggest to contact the support of your SSL certificate or reinstall again and check is well installed.

Oh I see the issue. Your certificate not cover subdomain only the domain so you cannot use your certificate for SSL a subdomain.
You need to reinstall the chat in the domain like https://e-kurs.net/livechat or buy a SSL certificate for http://destek.e-kurs.net/
You can find cheap certificate at http://ssls.com

In case anyone is interested, you can get free certificates at: https://letsencrypt.org
These are not self-signed certs. They work out of the box with newer browsers.

Hi people. Fisrt, sorry for ressurrecting this topic, but i think this is the right place for my problem.
My LHC is running on a server with https and lets encrypt certificate. I get green padlock on him.
I generate a wembed widget code for a web site that is not entire in https, so i get yellow padlock for him.
I had tried all configurations and solutions found in the documentation, but none of them works for me. Some sugestions ?
For situation example, assume this:
LHC server url: https://chatexample.com.br (green padlock)
Page where the widget is embed url: https://clients.com (yellow padlock)

Hi rapafleutz, you can open your own topic.
No one of the websites linked by you is working for me.
The first doesn't load, the second has something wrong with the certificate and won't load.

I don't know if i could pate de real url here.
The LCH server is on https://chatsupss.serpro.gov.br
The web site is on https://cliente.serpro.gov.br (but the widget will only appear, if you can login on this page)

Are you sure the mixed content is from the chat widget?
Hummm Seems you are forcing SSL on the domain where the live chat is so i cannot see how live helper chat can be the cause of the mixed content.
Try to use developer console of the browser. The issue is not LHC but maybe some configuration. I cannot see restrict area, you should find the issue by yourself.
The issue is not LHC itself, maybe some wrong configuration in the mixed page area.

No, you get ir wrong.
I know that the mixed content is on the page where de widget is (some image or something like that). The widget is working ok. I have others
on other pages, and there are no problems with him. The problem occurs only in this page, so, the problem is the content of the page, not from the widget.

No problem.
I have the lhc installed on a server with letsencrypt certificate, and have green padlock with navigators (https://chatsupss.serpro.gov.br).
I generate the embed widget code for the url https://cliente.serpro.gov.br (yellow padlock, mixed content).
The problem is that the widget is not loading (showing) because the page has mixed content.

This is not LHC problem but your server configuration.
I cannot help as i cannot see the issue as the widget is inserted in a private area.
You can try to put your embed code on https://htmledit.squarefree.com/ do you have mixed content too?
If yes maybe you can try to share the embed code you are using.

Hi, my friend. I think i found where my problem fits.
* Applies to one domain/multiple domains if they internaly do not switch protocol from http to https
* Some parts of my site is using https and some http what should i change also subdomain changes for checkout page? (changing subdomains case)
- During embed code generation choose https mode
- In chat configuration enter "Chat configuration" => "Misc" in field "Please enter explicit http mode. Either http: or https:, do not forget : at the end." enter https:
- Enter your root domain in "Chat configuration" => "Misc" -> "Set your domain to enable user tracking across different domain subdomains." (E.g example.com)
- Uncheck if checked - "Use secure cookie, check this if you want to force SSL all the time"
I'm not sure about the subdomains part, but everything else fits in my case.
I had tried this solution, but it not works.
