Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{'

Hello Everyone,

I tried to install Live Helper Chat in Justhost.com. But I'm Getting the following error. I'm a Newbie. Please do help and Thanks in advance.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /home2/dataproi/public_html/live/lib/core/lhcore/password.php on line 10.

What version of LHC (Live Helper Chat) are you trying to install?
Last version 2.44?

What version of PHP are you using? Last version of LHC required PHP 5.4
Are you sure all file has been unzipped correctly and upload correctly?

I suggest to you yo try a new install.
Version 2.44 of LHC (last available) is BUGGED at the moment so I suggest to use the last available version not affected by off line BUG version 2.40 you can download from here:

Also I suggest to subscribe into the BUG for know when will be resolved:
