The online/offline stats icon on the top right keeps automatically getting reset to offline

thank you for your post in the Live Helper Chat Forum.

Your issue is not detailed.
If just you see chat go offline you have issue on connection or hosting.

This seems not an issue relative to LHC.
If you are not able to make it work I suggest to try a clean install.

Are you using web browser operator console or software for be logged in the LHC?

If you have more detail to add you can add to this existing topic.

I am not getting disconnected or losing the session.

It's the little icon to the top right next to my name in the browser console. (looks like lightening bolt)

Without doing anything, sometimes that gets changed to my status being offline. I cannot figure out what is triggering that status change

thank you for have replied back.

What version of LHC are you using?
Are you in a shared, virtual or dedicating hosting?
What browser are you using?

This is the first time I hear this issue.
The button for be offline and offline are not updated in real time from what I know so if you not change page inside the operator the button not change status.

Maybe you need to reset your browser to default settings or try another browser and see if the issue is the same.
Maybe some one are loggin with your same account and put you offline or you loose session or your hosting can have issue on hosting Live Helper Chat.

Is a strange issue smile

If I lost the "session", I would be logged out, not changed status. I am still logged into LHC.

sorry to cannot help you more with this issue.

Try a new install or different hosting or check error log. :-)
This is the first time I hear that kind of issue.
