Chat Redirect Timeing

We are having an issue where we are not notified of a new chat until after they have already been re-directed to the form.

Is there a way to set the time frame for re-direct?

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

thank you for your post in the live helper chat forum.

What version of LHC (Live Helper Chat) are you using?
The version UP to 2.40 has actually a BUG where seem the offline form showed when user are redirected not work.

Version 2.40 is not affected.

What browser are you using for manage chat?
There is an issue with Chrome who maybe not alert you with sound and notification message if the Chrome browser is minimized.
Solution is try different browser, I AM using Chromodo since Chrome stop to work for me.

You can set the timer for redirect chat to contact form in settings, live help configuration, Department,
in the relative department after click edit this is the field to customize:
Delay in seconds before leave a message form is shown. 0 Means functionality is disabled

The bug of wrong offline page showed when user is redirect from version 2.41 to 2.44 is opened here:

Marco,

We are using the newest version 2.44 and Chrome browser.  We will try to use Edge or Firefox and see if that helps.

I will also look at the time we have set for the re-direct.

Caution version 2.44 redirect user to offline form that is not working in the widget.
For not have this issue I downgrade my LHC to version 2.40.

You can test and see.
