Live helper chat and osTicket integration

Hi there,

I am trying to integrate Live helper chat with osTicket platform. I have followed all the instructions on the website, I have already the button "Create a ticket" visible in every chat, so obviously I have reached to some point of the integration, but when I click on it I get the message "Unable to create a ticket: valid API required".

Please give me some direction what can have possibly gone wrong?

BR,
Konstantin

Re: Live helper chat and osTicket integration

Hi, Marco B, thank you for your answer.
I assume you have set up the Livehelperchat to send e-mails to a designated mail and from there you extract them via OsTicket filter?
I have tried to do the same, but I don't seem to be able to adjust the SMTP of Livehelper chat to send e-mails.

Re: Live helper chat and osTicket integration

You can read about OsTicket extension here:
https://livehelperchat.com/osticket-extension-394a.html

If you want configure SMTP correctly in the Live Helper Chat
https://livehelperchat.com/how-to-use-g … -204a.html
remember to put before the domain the tls:// or ssl://

so if you use TLS tls://mail.domain.ext
and put the correct port. Than test smile

One this work you can tell to OsTicket to see the reply email address and use that for open a ticket.
