Department under embed code

hi, how to show out all the embed code for the department

location :
Home/system configuration/embed code:

under department i only can see any ? can i change to online depart that i list ?

because i have some problem for the once i create a new department and i assigned some user for the department
and they can see any of the pending chat coming in

Hi Jimmy,
thank you for posting a question in the forum.

In Embed code you can press CTRL on your keyboard and than click on the department list on Embed code for select the department you want show.
If you put any all department will be showed.

If you want put only online department so if you want show in the widget only online department you have to edit the department interested and select the box for show only when is online, you have to do this for all department if you want show them only when are online but this option maybe should not be used on the all department or if all department are offline?!
Usually can be used only in some special department or can good if your widget is active only if there are online operator.

If you want allow the operator to see only his assigned department pending chat you have to edit the profile of that operator go on Profile, Pending chat tab and uncheck the box " I can see all pending chats, not only assigned to me"

Hi, thank for the reply. i have setting up for the department online, but there are still same with the operator on that department is online can not see any pending chat ? and i must check the box " I can see all pending chats, not only assigned to me" ?

My apologies. I did not explain properly my problem.

In the Page Embed settings, I am not able to see list of departments. Only "Any" shows up in the department list though I have created 2 departments.

Hi,
thank you!

This mean you are not authorized to see that department.
Please open the Operator Profile, go under Department and assign to you all department so you will se also to see in Embed code.

Account (right top) > Assigned Departments > All departments

You can't see maybe because you are not assigned to that department. Assign yourself or the operator profile to that department and try again.
Of course if you enable an operator to have assigned all department he will be able to see all pending chat.

Now, i have 2 department, department A and department B each department have 1 operator,

Once user is sending messages to me,

Department A operator can see the pending chat.
Department B operator can not see the pending chat.

both of setting have check 'I can see all pending chats, not only assigned to me'

how can i do just can let department B to see the available pending chat  ?

Hi,
sorry but some issue on understanding what you wrote.

So Department A are Assigned to Operator A
and Department B are assigned to Department B

Department B will be able to see available pending chat if there are an operator assigned to Department B so Operator B must be assigned to Department B in their profile.

If "I can see all pending chats, not only assigned to me" are checked operator should can see all pending chat not only assigned to him.
