Installation URL?

Hello,

I've installed the package directly in the root.
Now, following your instructions, the URL should be

www.livewebchat.nl/lhc_web/index.php/install/install/ or www.livewebchat.nl/lhc_web/index.php?/install/install/
but it is not working...

Not Found
The requested URL /lhc_web/index.php/install/install was not found on this server.

This URL looks like it's working. So just proceed with your install

Thanks for your reply.

In fact I was going to write you an update but you were quicker ;-)

We removed the Wordpress package on the server and the URL came available, so we went thought the (first) installation.
Then we installed Wordpress again but it had a conflict, so we removed that again.

Basically what we did was to remove all the livehelperchat files and redo everything from scratch.. but this time we can't get further than step 2 of the installation due to a 500 internal server error....

Just enable debug output. I ques server is missing some of PHP libraries.

added 'debug_output' => true, in settings/settings.ini.php file

just try install and you should see detailed error.

I get this..
500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

So do as your server says... Contact administrator, download error log to see exact error etc...

Error: "attempt to invoke directory as script:" are explained by looking on the google:
https://www.google.it/search?q=attempt+ … +as+script.

Seems you need to open your Apache configuration and look if you have "ScriptAlias" if you have seems you have to replace with Alias only after made a backup of your Apache!

I never had this issue so maybe as remdex say is your server configuration so Apache.
