I have not been able to replicate this issue myself, so I have a limited amount of information about the problem at this time. However, this has been reported by dozens of users on the site, so something is definitely going on.
Some times, for some people, the icons in live chat ( minimize, expand, close ) will not load.
We have a pretty unique setup with multiple subdomains powered by different servers.
The live chat is at:
livechat.domain.com
But it's loaded on pages of:
domain.com
support.domain.com
ALL pages of every subdomain are https
Any idea why the icons load sometimes but not others?

Hi,
I'm afraid it's to little info to tell what could be wrong...

I have a LITTLE more information about the issue.
One of our devs had the issue but isn't anymore (others are). So, he can't get the exact error messages, but this is what he remembers:
It was an XHR / CORS ( Cross-origin resource sharing error ) make the image fail to load
Does that help narrow it down at all?
Thanks

Here is the exact error message:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://livechat.mydomain.com/design/de … rey_2x.png. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://www.mydomain.com' is therefore not allowed access.

I noticed the embed code for the widget did NOT have the domain listed in it - could this be the source of the problem?
