Display customer name in an automated message.

Hi,

I want to display the customer's name when lhc sends first message (Proactive chat invitation)

For e.g
If John visits my site.
I want to send the first automated message as ,

Hi John, How may I help You?

Could anyone please advice how can I achieve this?

Variable {nick} is available only if visitor previously had chat. For first time it's not possible to pass this.

Re: Display customer name in an automated message.

Hey,

Thanks a lot.

But , I have marked name as a mandatory field when proactive chat pushes the pop up.
Can't we retrieve that value and use it for this purpose?
Also I wanted to add my organization name. Say for example,

"Hello John, Welcome to ABC solutions"
