Hi,
I need disable user time zone because chat started from Italy had all wrong time zone Europe/London and not Europe/Rome.
How can i disable this function for keep the server time on messages?
Thanks
I have tried to report this issue with video here:
https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/liveh … issues/541
but seems I can not be trusted.
Different visitor start chat from my blog from mobile phone and different PC, all with wrong time zone,
time are only correct near every messages printed into chat but in the right corner
visitor continue to have Wrong time zone.
Can the user time zone can be disabled until this issue is solved or if not issue for you disable for fix the problem?
Thanks

Also having this problem, did you ever add these fixes into the build, or should I add them myself?
Asking because the topic is a year old

More correctly this has been fixed ages ago.

Strange.. I am experiencing this issue right now. The user is in the Netherlands so timezone should be Europe/Amsterdam but LHC puts him in Europe/Paris, giving a 2 hour difference.

Timezone is detected by user browser settings. His computer time. His location is detected by IP address. There is no guarantee they will match in any case.

It's seems the time in the chat is your PC time as can i see from your image. Your PC time 9.50 your chat time 9.49.56

Chat user was in the Netherlands for sure, my time is set on Europe/Amsterdam. Picture was taken at 09:50:20 local time, that means the chat was happening at that time, not 07:48.
Isn't there a way to make sure both times are in MY time?
Thanks!

Nop, in admin you see chat messages in time zone you have chosen in back office. In right column yuo see a timezone which we have detected.

Netherlands time and Europe/Paris is the same time. Netherlands seems to have not different time.. i mean if i look into google of the Netherlands current time is the same here in Italy (Europe/Paris) so chat are not totally wrong.
Is not important time zone is not perfect maybe as the user don't see it, but the numeric time is important is correct.
Will be not nice if time is wrong, (time zone not very important as user not see it, user will see the time on numeric form) so.. important is time is correct.
Seems to be Netherlands and Europe/Paris time is the same.

Any chance it got corrupted with the recent time change in Europe/Amsterdam? Server itself is showing the right date/time.
For now I will change to Europe/Paris.
