I have searched the forums and all over the application and can not find anything that enables this selfedit function short of giving full admin permissions. Logically you would think it would be in role options (select new policy). I tried them all - nothing. Perhaps under the user config? Nothing. So the question is how to do this?
The operator gets the following error message:
You do not have permission to access the module "user" and use "selfedit" function
What is the secret?

If you have opetator role. You have to assign this function to operators.
Choose users module and choose appropriate permission.
After you do that. Operator has to logout and login to take it effect.

Yes, what you say would seem the logical thing. But I see no selection to select "users module" See below.
So what am I missing here?

Well I think perhaps it is my own fault. Somehow I was playing with the database and these rights no longer showed up. So I reinstalled and now I do see these options. Sorry to have bothered you. PS. Anyhow, thanks. Good work on the software. I am in test mode, the themes are not to difficult too tailor. If I do use it commercially I will be sure to donnate. Like you say, good work should be paid for. Thanks again.
