"Chat was deleted"

Hi !
I'm french and sorry for my english ..
I've just discovered this "software" tomorrow and it's a amazing soft ! With a lot of configurations, really easy to use and light to host !
But i have a problem, i have create a chat, but since I disconnect I have a message on my web page "Chat was deleted" and I do not understand why. Someone have an idea? I thought the chat was still on the page, and when I disconnect it close but reopens as soon as I connect.

Sorry, but I did not understood what's wrong exactly. Can you provide step by step how to reproduce on demo.livehelperchat.com?

Hey there, I have notice exact same thing. But unfortunately this is not happen often..and never on english version of chat widget..
I will try to reproduce it and will write you back here..

I have the same problem. However it is not reproducible on livehelperchat.com. Here is what I do. I start the chat on my site and close the chat by clicking on X on the chat box. Then the chat box is displayed with {Live chat is online...}. When this is clicked, the message {Chat was deleted} is displayed and the chat can not be initiated again by the user, neither the operator can send messages to the user. In order to chat again, the page has to be refreshed. Even when the page is refreshed, sometimes it is not possible to chat. How to fix this?

Sorry but as long it's not reproducible on demo.livehelperchat.com it's impossible to fix like I don't know what to fix.

Thanks for your reply. Its not possible to chat even after refreshing the page. Nothing can be done after the message [Chat was deleted] is displayed. Could there be some setting? If you wish I can share my screen with you and show you the settings. Many of the users maybe facing the same issue. Its not possible to chat at all after this message is displayed.

Sorry, but only you are facing this issue.

What settings you have there in your install there Chat configuration -> Misc
[] Reopen chat functionality enabled
[] Automatically reopen chat on widget open
[] Allow user to reopen closed chats?

User should be able to start a chat by clicking X on top right of widget itself and clicking widget again.

All the three checkboxes are checked in my setting. Clicking X on top right of widget seems to be deleting the chat. However chat is still visible on chat admin panel. But even if operator sends new message to the user, its never displayed on the widget. Widget continues to display [Chat was deleted]. From above messages, it seems others are facing the same problem.

Sorry it's only you! , otherwise there would be flood of these type of issues. If you want there is commercial support. If you prove it's bug it will be free

Ok, thanks. Let me check it myself. If I can not fix it, I shall ask for the commercial support. Other 2 people have posted in this thread for the same problem.
