406 not acceptable - Godaddy

I get this error everytime i tried to saved anything under Chat configuration.

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.php/site_admin/chat/listchatconfig could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I follow your instructions, but after created the .htaccess in the Lhc-Web root directory, i get a page not found message, 404 page.

They said something in the script is trying to Run and is being blocked by Mod_Security, and that cant be disabled. anyway to tweak that issue?. thanks

I really do not think that mod_security has anything to do with not found error, it's nonsense
The only issues users has was 404 and it was solved with help of this

but they said the 406 page is Mod_Security issue, and that is what happen every time i tried to submit - save anything under Chat configuration. and that happen before i made any change suggested at the following forum https://livehelperchat.com/godaddy-conf … -119a.html

Ok,

As I see you have installed on root folder. What you can try to do is to remove completely index.php from URL, perhaps it will help

In any case it's go daddy issue. You can try to show them the back office and url app is trying to submit. It's bullshit that they cannot fix it

I follow the instructions provide to remove index.php and add the .htaccess with the following info

But now every i tried update on Chat configuration, page reload and changes are not saved. Thanks for you Help

I have the same issue with x10hosting.

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /lhc/index.php/site_admin/chat/listchatconfig on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I need to see this issue with you as some days ago a customer had issue on GoDaddy but was not an issue relative to GoDaddy but related to bad server configuration from the user side.
