Question/Suggestion/Idea -> live update of the live button status

Hi,
i have heard make the live support button/widget updating automatically when live chat go online or offline without user have to reload or change the page
can take many server resource and be bad but i think can be a great function if there is a solution to not make this heavy.

Of code I do not understand much and for this reason i want talk with you of one commercial live chat system who make avaiable this function.
Are you interested into look in this live chat demo page for understand if this function can be implemeted in the future?

And eventually if is yes can i post here the name of this chat or the link - or where i can do?

Hi,

Sorry but this feature will not be done without financial backup. Few reasons
1. It's just cherry on the pie smile
2. It should be switchable on or off
3. Requires some hardcore changes to javascript.

4. You can fill github feature request in any case.

If there will appear some financial backup for this one, only then it will be done.
