Automated hosting - clear cache and themes

Questions:

1. There appears to be only one cache for customers.  If a customer clears the cache, does it clear it for everyone?

2. If a customer creates/imports a theme (site or widget), does every other customer see that theme?

3. If themes are common, what prevents one customer from changing another customers theme?

4. If themes are not kept in the common folder, where are custom themes kept for customers?

1. No clearing cache from customer instance does nothing. There was specian event/dispatch for this so it avoids clearing cache then customer does that.
2. No, each theme is stored in customer database, so theme is per customer etc.
3. Read 2
4. Read 2, theme storage like everything else is done by adding one variable in storage path like customer id
yearid/monthid/dayid/customerid/themeid/files something like that.

In the reply to #4 are you referring to the path /var/www/chatserver/lhc_customer/var/storagetheme ?

Is there a way to add the additional widget themes so they are available for all new customers?

At the moment not... Unless you develop something
