Move chat from a sub-directory to root page

Hi,

in this moment i have a chat working in a sub-directory like www.example.com/site/.
now i need to move the chat to the www.example.com.
i have moved the folder to the root. i access the admin panel from root but the panel redirect to the admin panel from www.example.com/site/
how can i change the instalation folder?.
the folder where chat is installed on sub-directory will be removed remaining only the root folder.
i need to know that because the chat is all config  and i dont want instal again and, add and change all of the work done and lose the data from database too.

hi,

i dont want change the database location. only move the folder to root.
i move the folder but after login he redirects to the folder where i install it. how do i  change instalation location?
i have install in example.com/v3.
now i only want move the folder and delete from settings that "/v3"
the database is correct and i dont want move to another place.

example i make a login in example.com/lhc_web/.....
after login he change to de original instalation folder and shows example.com/v3/lhc_web/

Just read article. Same steps applies if you are just moving location. Just skip database part in move tutorial.
