Mac Desktop App Support

Hi,

I just tried to run the lhc app on my mac, and got an error that mac no longer supports classic view. What versions of Mac is this compatible with? I am using the latest 10.8.

Thanks,

Re: Mac Desktop App Support

I tried running the QT 4 and QT 5 versions on my Mac Mavericks and both would not work. It shows the app briefly in the dock, then closes immediately.

Re: Mac Desktop App Support

Just install QT5 runtime libraries.

Re: Mac Desktop App Support

Doesn't QT5 runtime libraries come with the qt package when downloaded? So, what needs to happen really? Do you need to open qt before running the Mac Desktop app?

Re: Mac Desktop App Support

For MacOS no, because it was not static build. And i have no Mac to prepare fully static package to avoid all this. This build was provided by one of the users. If it does not work you will have just recompile it until someone will prepare fully functional package.
