Default "Online visitors" Settings

Is it possible to set the defaults for these drop downs, or at least have them saved on a per-user basis?  Currently it defaults for users online for the past hour whereas I want to have this stay saved to say 10 minutes with a refresh interval of 5 seconds (instead of the default 10).  It'd also be great if this applied to the Geo map.
