XMPP configurations.

Hi dude,

You are doing a fantastic job by including gtalk to the chat.

I have configured everything and working fine. But when the user starts chat, when there is no operator, it will go to admin directly and the admin can  chat through gmail right.

But the message content in XMPP has this.

You have a new chat request
{messages}
Click to accept a chat
{url_accept}

What is that "{url_accept} ".

This message is just a template. These variables in template will be replaced with actuall url to accept a chat. So it will be enough just click a link and chat window will open automatically without requirement to login etc.

thats good. But is there any possible to chat in the same window.

And, regarding the actual url, I have to generate that url or else how come i configure that url.

Hi,

1. Having option to chat directly in gtalk or gmail would require running background services, and without sufficient funding it's just overhead for me alone to do it.2. You do not have to configure anything. There variables will be filled automatically in live mode.

Hi,

That's fine dude.

When the XMPP settings works.

           I think , if the operator is in  offline, the user wants to chat with the operator, then XMPP wil send the notification to the admin, right.
If this is wrong, kindly guide me.

When the SMTP works.

If you do not have leave a message functionality activated then it will. If you have leave a message functionality it won't work because just leave a message maill will be send.

Usually you can just setup work hours in department configuration and in this case. It does not matter is anyone logged or not. You will receive in xmpp request to chat. Just play around and see yourself.
