After some weeks of working install, lhc suddenly stopped connecting to database

System is still in test use so it has not been used regularily. I may have updated Centos 6 in between and I have disables SELinux since it it too troublesome.
I get error: Cannot connect to database. If you are installing application please use /index.php/install/install url. If you keep getting this error please check that application can write to cache folder and cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1
Logs show nothing. Database check is ok and database user, passwd and name are ok.
From where to look now?

Something is not right with your server.

There should ne be errors like this.

I do not use is so I have propably not even installed it. But nothing has been changed lately.

Installed geos but that does not help with the problem. No more missing geos.so line though.

Seems to be working now. Not quite sure how, but somehow settigs file was broken. Maybe when I was updating I did something wrong.
