When someone posts something on the chatbox, it saves and apears everytime anyone enters the page, how can I prevent this? Meaning I have a fresh chat everytime you enter the page and click on the chat button?

Hi, you are mixing two different modules chatbox and live help, use live for live help in your site

Does that mean I can't use the chatbox the way I meant? I mean the pop-up chat widget, or does it apear on page embeed too?

It means that chatbox messages are visible to all users all the time.

I'll take that as a no. It's a shame that chatbox has only one strict use, it looks very nice. Thanks for your help.

Can you tell me under what circumstance messages should not be visible by all?

Well, I tought the chatbox's purpose was to make a direct link with the operators, one-to-one, but I see that's not the case, what i'm trying to do is have a chatbox that's just as nice to look at, right there on the page, but private between operator and client. After trying diferent code snippets I think Chat List>Page embeed code does just that, but is there any way of changing the text in the chat? Let's say from "Ask a question" to "Subject"? Also, when I click a field, it gets a white background, can it be changed?

Hi,
As i understood you want live help widget embeded directly on page, you can do that also. Here is example of link in demo
http://demo.livehelperchat.com/site_admin/system/embedcode
"Configuration" -> "Live help embed code" -> "Page embed code"
Everything can be changed using css or templates overrides. Just play around
