I don't know if the unbranded Extension is working yet.

hello,

The other day I did everything as your tutorial said.

but it didn't work, and I had to edit the defaultheme folder at the root of the live helper chat directory.
then when the script is updated the changes I made will disappear.

change the logo and name.

Greetings and thanks.

Re: I don't know if the unbranded Extension is working yet.

Hi wotan6891,
I don't know if the extension work on new install but I'm using it on an existent install and I see no issue.

What steps did you follow?
What did you edited on defaultheme folder?
Editing the original LHC code can cause issues.

Hello.

1. in the folder "Settings" and in the file "Settings.ini.default.php" and in the file "Settings.ini.php" change the title.

2. in the folder "Desing" folder "images" and in the file "favicon.ico" change the favicon

3. in the same path as above but this time in the "General" folder and in the "logo.png" file change the logo

4. in the "desing" folder then in the "defaulttheme" folder then in the "tpl" folder then in the "pagelayouts" folder then in the "parts" folder and in the "page_footer_user.tpl.php" file change the footer of page

I didn't use the unbrand extension at all because it didn't work for me.

The problem I have is that when they update, I will lose all the changes.

Thanks friend for your help.

Are you sure to follow the correct update procedure?

When you updating you don't need replace all folders, just the described one.

Re: I don't know if the unbranded Extension is working yet.

I just installed lhc 3 weeks ago for the first time. it means that the installation is new and I am new to lhc.

what I wanted was to tell you that the unbrand extension to be able to change the logo, the favicon, and the footer, with my own names. it's not working Or is it just in my case that it doesn't work.

I don't know what to suggest, maybe the developer can have some more idea but is more busy than me.
You can find some more info about help on my footer signature.
