windows program will not allow logins

We have downloaded the windows program found on github /LiveHelperChat/electron/releases

Most users can login using their account. No issues.

But some users cannot login. The program gives a login error. If those user try logging in using a browser on the same computer it works so we know the username and password are correct. Something with their windows will not allow the windows program to log them in.

Any idea what this could be? firewall? port? session storing?

have you tried to see if the same issues you are facing are present also from the web browser?

The browser works fine. We can log in using chrome or edge or firefox

so the issue is the windows app. for some reason it will not log in the user.

On a different computers the windows app works. Its just a couple of window machines it does not

If the issue is just in some PC I don't know how to help you.
Will be maybe also hard open an issue if the issue is not always replicable.

If you are able to reproduce a big you can open an issue in the issue page related to the desktop app https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/electron/issues
What I can suggest to do is to use a browser.

In my case I use Firefox as default browser for normal navigation and the developer version for live chat.
I set the Firefox developer to start with windows by creating a link in the auto start, windows program folder.

If your IP change or if you log-in from different IP with the same account you will be logged out from one of the two login device.
Be sure the same issue behaviour you are facing is not happening with browser access.

If the issue happens only on the Windows client you can open a GitHub issue https://github.com/LiveHelperChat/electron/issues
