Hi,
We currently have our chat setup so the live chat box for the public is only shown when we have agents "online" If no agent is available the chat box does not show on the public website
We also would like to use the "automatic online hours" but if we enable this then the chat box for the public shows regardless if an agent is online.
If there a setting where we can have the automatic online hours but only show the chat box if the agents are available?

This requirement conflicts with your own because you want online hours and online agents to be online which is the same as show only if agents is online. Pethaps explain your use case scenario as now it’s just unclear how it can be usefull

Use case
We want to only allow the chat to be available for certain hours. If an agent forgets to signout (which they do often) then the chat box would not show since its after the automatic hour. This would prevent the public from messaging on the chat after hours if the user has forgotten to login
Let me know if there is any work around for this scenario
