SMTP settings for outlook

I am trying to setup SMTP with my outlook email.

I entered:
email: ***.com
pwd: *******
host: smtp.live.com
port: 25

But it says:

SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

The email and password is correct. Have anyone faced this issue?

It needs secure smtp connection. But that option is not there in SMTP settings page.

Please help.

Perhaps for secure smtp use something like in this article. There is option just to provide tls://

Etc. Just play around.
